Updating Hounslow's Health & Wellbeing Strategy

Closed 25 Nov 2022

Opened 28 Sep 2022

Our vision is to see our communities healthy, connected and able to realise their full potential. The Covid-19 pandemic has been a difficult time for our residents who have experienced challenges at a family, social, economic, and environmental level.

This strategy outlines key ambitions, priorities, and actions for communities to have fair access to health and care services. The focus of this strategy is to prevent illness and to intervene early for our residents. We want to create opportunities for people to live healthier, happier and wealthier lives, and is not founded on individuals’ financial resources.

This strategy sets out our three-year vision for health and wellbeing in Hounslow. Our strategy is a refresh of the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2018-22 the progress of which was interrupted by the response to Covid-19.

Before committing to the new strategy, we invite you to join in the conversation and confirm the refreshed ambitions, priorities, and actions that were proposed before the Covid-19 pandemic. We invite you to share your experiences and learnings from Covid-19 to build on a resilient future for health and wellbeing together.

A copy of the Hounslow Joint Health & Wellbeing Strategy is attached below.  The priorities are outlined in Section 4.

This survey should take between 5 and 10 minutes, depending on how many parts of the survey you decide to answer.

We remain committed to this vision, and have refreshed our ambitions, priorities and actions guided by the learning from our response and the impact of the pandemic on our communities.

Printed copies of the survey and our draft Health and Wellbeing strategy document are available in local libraries and Hounslow House. You can request copies of this questionnaire in alternative formats such as Easy Read (see below) and large print by contacting  Equalities@hounslow.gov.uk or phoning 0208 583 2336/2567/2530.

Why your views matter
