Violence Against Women and Girls Plan 2022 - 2025

Closed 22 Apr 2022

Opened 11 Mar 2022

Hounslow Council is inviting all women and girls who live, work, study or travel in our borough, to tell us about their experiences of violence against women and girls.

The Violence Against Women and Girls Plan forms part of the Safer Communities Strategy 2021-2024, to keep Hounslow a low crime borough and to ensure that all victims received the support they need.

What is Violence Against Women and Girls?

Walking home at night with your keys between their fingers to feel safer, being worried about sexual harassment when heading out the house or fearing for your safety when at home are things we want to help change for women and girls in Hounslow.

While we understand this is a sensitive subject and that it may cause concern or distress to those who have experienced or witnessed an incident. We're listening to you to better understand the lived experience of residents in the borough.
