Feltham Arenas Parklands - have your say

Closed 21 Sep 2018

Opened 6 Jul 2018

Overview

Final plans for improvements to Feltham Arenas Parklands are now available for comment. The plans follow on from feedback collated during a public consultation with residents and park users which took place in December 2016.

The current proposals include ideas to improve access and security and a strong focus on reducing crime and anti-social behavior.

Proposals include:

  • key pedestrian entrances to the park to be made more attractive and welcoming to pedestrians and cyclists, whilst restricting motorbikes and mopeds
  • two new pedestrian/cycle paths including an accessible path over the mound and two new footbridges across the Longford River
  • new lighting along a new primary path and improvements to lighting along the existing footpath on the eastern boundary
  • improvements to the park frontage at Hounslow Road entrance and a new cricket pitch at Glebelands Playing Fields
  • vegetation clearance and better management of trees and shrubs to improve sightlines around key entrances and along pathways.

Residents and stakeholders can view current plans online by downloading the information below, or by viewing the boards on display at Feltham Library. Please email your comments to FelthamParks@landuse.co.uk or submit your comments via the comments slips available at the Library.
