Hounslow Council wants your feedback on the character & design of your area to shape the design of future development and to help identify and deliver improvements, contributing to the overall prosperity of place.
Your feedback so far has been invaluable in drafting the Character and Design Code Study, which defines neighbourhood boundaries based on where you told us you live, work and shop, proposes visions which are grounded in your aspirations for your local area and sets design codes to deliver the sorts of development you told us that you’d like to see in your local area.
More information on the Character and Design Codes SPD can be found at our project webpage.

No one understands the local area better than local residents. We want your feedback on the study to help shape the places where you live. Your feedback will ensure that future development is high-quality and enhances local character.
The aim of the study is to raise the bar of design quality across the entire borough – ensuring that local people can live, work and thrive in sustainable, healthy, social, and well-designed places.
More information on the project can be found at the project webpage.
The Study will be refined in line with your feedback. The Study will then be published for further consultation before adoption later on in the year. Consultation responses will be published in the Engagement and Consultation Statement along with the revised Study.
The workshop will be held on Microsoft Teams.
