Impact of Covid on Children & Young People's Mental Health

Closed 3 Jan 2022

Opened 3 Dec 2021

Overview

We are hoping to hear from young people aged between 13 and 24, to find out the impact of Covid-19 on the mental health and well-being of young people. We are asking young people themselves, and additionally their parents or carers.

It's part of the council's Children & Young People's Scrutiny Panel "deep dive" into the effects of the pandemic. It's part of the panel's job to check and balance the council's work.

So if you could help us by encouraging other people in your household to do this survey, please show them this link or where the page is on our website.

And if you'd like to be in with a chance of winning £20 as a "Thank You" for taking part, please leave your email address on page 2. Young people only are eligible for the prize draw.

You don’t need to give your name to complete the survey.

The survey closes on Monday January 3, 2022.

Thank you!

What happens next

The survey results will be collected and analysed as part of the Children & Young People's Scrutiny Panel "deep dive" into the effects of the pandemic, on the mental health and well-being of young people.

There won't be any immediate action taken or change of policy - but hearing your expereinces will help the panel when it makes its recommendations at the end of the "deep dive".
