Cedars Road & Ellesmere Road (South) CPZ

Closed 7 Jun 2019

Opened 10 May 2019

The council has received complaints by local residents regarding ‘all-day’, non-residential parking occurring in the Transport for London (TfL) managed area fronting Cedars Road and Ellesmere Road, Chiswick south of the A4.

This section of Cedars Road and Ellesmere Road is part of the Transport for London Road Network (TLRN), and the council does not have the authority to implement parking controls on the TLRN without the approval of TfL. Discussions are ongoing between the council and TfL on the permissibility of extending parking controls on to the TLRN. Both parties are keen to see if there is wider support from residents before any parking controls can be formalised. If the support is evident, further negotiations between the council and TfL will take place.

Why we are consulting

This consultation gives those affected the opportunity to assess the councils’ proposed scheme design and review the information on CPZs before indicating whether you support the introduction of parking controls or not. I would encourage you to respond even if you do not experience parking difficulties and/or are not in favour of the CPZ.

Before completing the survey on this page, please refer to the information letter and maps, which were sent to area residents via post and can be found below in the 'Related' section .
