Feltham Town Centre Transport Scheme: Post-Completion Survey

Closes 17 Jul 2022

Opened 20 Jun 2022

Over the course of 2018-2020, Hounslow Council implemented a wide range of transport improvement works in Feltham town centre.

The first phase of the scheme focused on minimising the impact of the railway station's level crossing closure on surrounding roads, and improving road safety and bus journey times. The level crossing was closed so Network Rail could lengthen the platforms to accommodate 10 car trains.

The second phase of the scheme focused on improving the appearance of High Street, Victoria Road / Mono Lane, Bedfont Lane and Bedfont Lane / New Road between Sandycombe Road and the railway station. The changes were designed to enhance these streets for everyone that uses them, making the town centre a better place to live, work and shop.

A full list of the works that were carried out in both phases can be found by clicking on the link in the "Related" section at the bottom of this page.

Why your views matter

We are conducting a post-completion, "lessons learned" survey of this scheme to help inform our approach to delivering major transport improvement schemes. The survey includes an "any other comments" question that you can use to tell us about any outstanding issues you have observed in the Feltham scheme area, and we will review these accordingly.

However, our main objective is to learn whether the extensive outreach we conducted for this scheme was effective, and whether you have any suggestions to improve the ways in which Hounslow Council approaches the delivery of its major transport improvement schemes in the future.
