Field Close CPZ

The consultation feedback demonstrated a lack of support for the proposed CPZ, and the scheme will not be progressed.

A resident petition has been submitted to the council regarding obstructive and indiscriminate parking on Field Close and neighbouring roads, and it has been suggested that the parking pressure has increased in this area primarily due to parking associated with Heathrow Airport.

In response the council are undertaking this 'informal' consultation regarding the introduction of a possible Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) in the Field Close 'area'.

As shown on the map extract below, the area of this proposed CPZ includes Berkeley Avenue, Byron Avenue, Chaucer Avenue, Clevedon Gardens, Field Close, Meadowbank Gardens, Regent Close, Westwick Gardens and Woodfield Road.

Why your views matter

The purpose of this consultation is to give you an opportunity to assess the proposals before indicating whether you would support a CPZ.

In addition to asking whether consultees support the proposed CPZ, the survey also asks for your comments on the possible operational times of the proposed CPZ, in the event that it is implemented.

I would encourage you to respond even if you do not experience parking difficulties and/or are not in favour of the proposed CPZ. Before completing the survey on this page, please refer to the information letter and map below which were sent to area residents via post and can be found below in the 'Related' section .

What happens next

Once the consultation responses have been analysed, the results of the consultation will be reported to your local ward councillors for consideration, and residents of the area will be notified in writing with the outcome of the consultation and any future action in due course.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this consultation.
