Kew Bridge Slip Road - CPZ consultation

Closed 10 Dec 2018

Opened 12 Nov 2018

Overview

A resident petition has been submitted to Hounslow Council requesting parking controls to assist in regulating indiscriminate and obstructive parking occurring in the access road adjacent to 8 Kew Bridge Road, referred to as Kew Bridge Slip Road for the purposes of this consultation.

It has been suggested the parking pressure has increased in this road due to parking by local workers, shoppers, occupants of the new residential developments and commuters using Kew Bridge Station. As a result, the Council have agreed to undertake a ‘detailed design’ consultation with occupants of the boat moorings and other premises accessed from Kew Bridge Slip Road regarding the possible introduction of a controlled parking zone (CPZ).

Why We Are Consulting

The purpose of this consultation is to give you an opportunity to assess the proposals before indicating whether you would support a CPZ, and to comment on the proposed design. I would encourage you to respond even if you do not experience parking difficulties and/or are not in favour of the CPZ.

Before completing the survey on this page, please refer to the information letter and scheme design, which were sent to area residents via post and can be found below in the 'Related' section .

In addition to asking whether you support the proposed CPZ, the survey below also asks for your comments on the possible operational days and times in the event that a CPZ is introduced.

The results of the consultation will be reported to your local ward councillors for consideration, all residents within the consultation area will receive a letter informing them of the outcome. If you live outside the area, but would like to be kept informed, we will also provide a further update on this consultation page when available.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this consultation.
