For the opinions of residents who lived in the vicinity of Kingsley Avenue Park on a potential flood alleviation scheme utilising SuDS in Kingsley Avenue Park.
There was general support for the proposal of creating a wetland in the park as a method of flood alleviation. Some respondents felt that this would increase their use of the park. Some comments were raised around access to the park and amenity benefits of the wetland. Overall the reaction of the respondents was in support of the proposed SuDS scheme.
The delivery of the scheme in Kingsley Park has not been finalised. If the scheme is to proceed, the results from the consultation will be taken into consideration.
For the opinions of residents on a potential flood alleviation scheme utilising SuDS in the Brentford North area.
There was general concern around flooding and the future impact of climate change. There was general support for sustainable drainage systems to be utilised to alleviate flooding along with gneral support for the council to do the works.
Concerns raised around the amenity that the SuDS would deliver, and what impact / impingement there would be on available parking space in the area. These would need to be taken into account in further consultation / development of the plans.
The feasibility of the scheme in Brentford North is still being investigated and the options are not finalised. In this process, results from the consultation will be taken into account.
Whether stakeholders agreed with the proposed admission arrangements for London Borough of Hounslow Community Schools for 2022 -2023.
No responses were received, however for the purpose of this consultation, it was agreed that non-response from governing bodies, admission authority trusts and schools would be interpreted as agreement with the proposed admission arrangements.
The Cabinet determined (formally agreed) the proposed admission arrangements and they were adopted for the September 2022 - August 2023 academic year.
